The error message "invalid uri. the format of the uri could not be determined" usually occurs when there is an issue with the installation package or with the URI being used to download the installation files. To resolve this issue, you can try downloading the installation files again from a reliable source and ensure that the URI format is correct. Additionally, make sure your system meets the requirements for Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2010 Express.
